MARPOL 73/78 Convention includes a set of regulation aimed at preventing pollution of the sea from ships. At the moment there are six different Annexes with regulations dealing with different aspect of marine pollution as outlined below:

  • Annex I Regulations for the Prevention of Pollution by Oil from Ships
  • Annex II Regulations for the Prevention of Pollution by Noxious Liquid Substances in Bulk
  • Annex III Regulations for the Prevention of Pollution by Harmful Substances Carried by Sea in Packaged Form, or in Freight Containers, Portable Tanks or Road and Rail Tank Wagons
  • Annex IV Regulations for the Prevention of Pollution by Sewage from Ships
  • Annex V Regulations from the Prevention of Pollution by Garbage from Ships
  • Annex VI Regulations for the Prevention of Pollution of Air from Ships
  • We are authorized to issue statutory certificates as outlined below for ships and floating structures on behalf of flag Administrations as per our Authorizations.
  • International Oil Pollution Prevention Certificate
  • International Certificate of Fitness for the Carriage of Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk
  • Certificate of Fitness for the Carriage of Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk
  • International Pollution Prevention Certificate for the Carriage of Noxious Liquid Substances in Bulk
  • Certificate of Fitness for Offshore Support Vessels
  • International Sewage Pollution Prevention Certificate
  • International Air Pollution Prevention Certificate
  • Engine International Air Pollution Prevention Certificate
  • International Energy Efficiency Certificate
